HR Administrator/Portsmouth/18 month Contract/£11.50 per hour/

My client is a well respected and highly successful market leader who is currently experiencing a continued period of growth and success. Due to an ever increasing work load, they are recruiting for a HR Administrator join their dynamic Personnel division. Please find the job spec below:

The role is looking for someone to work with the HR advisors, wider HR team and key stakeholders to proactively deliver general HR administrative tasks, and be the first point of contact for general queries.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Excellent IT skills across all Microsoft packages
- Good data entry skills and manipulation of data skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Prioritization of workload, when managing multiple tasks
- Basic employment law knowledge (desirable)
- Well-developed business administration capability

KEY INTERPERSONAL/BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

- Ability to achieve and maintain credibility when engaging with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Makes decisions and applies tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
- Administrates, plans and prioritises high volume workload

KEY MENTAL/ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND CHALLENGES

The job holder demonstrates the ability to analyse and interpret relevant data and metrics and business information to enable effective onward communication

- Is driven and committed to deliver

Additional responsibilities will also include:

1. Provide guidance to wider HR team, line managers and employees on HR policies, processes and compliance with basic employment law
2. Schedule and co-ordinates all logistical requirements for training, and briefing session
3. Be first point of contact for all general queries, both on the telephone and through email
4. Undertake diary management, and task management for the HR team
5. Administers HR Intranet pages
7. Provide daily/weekly business reporting
8. General HR Administration (data inputting, scanning and uploading documents)
