Providing a quality service to the EDF Energy HR community and all employees

Reporting to the HR Generalist Administration and HR Absence Team Leader

Assist and administer multiple processes and procedures linked to company policy and legislative changes in a HR function

Working hours 09:30-17:30, Monday to Friday

The role holder will need a basic understanding of HR and company procedures.

The individual will need to be able to work as part of a team processing large volumes of HR generalist administration and absence documentation relating to various HR processes.

The post holder will have the ability to communicate effectively with employees, other team members and managers in order to ensure that service expectations are met. There are a broad range of activities an Employee Service HR Administrator will undertake in supporting the life cycle of an employee, initially these activities with include end to end ownership on a range of different HR generalist processes:

HR Administration & Absence

Flexible Working/Work-Life Solutions

Maternity, Paternity & Adoption

Subject Access Requests

Administer Probationary Process

Administer Induction (logging and reporting)

Employment and Financial references

Driver Risk Assessments

Health Related Absence Management procedures - including short term and long term absence

Skills and Qualifications

Willingness to take responsibility and assume ownership

Concise, clear and accurate written style

HR Administration experience and / or HR Administrator level (advantageous)

Knowledge of HR processes (advantageous)

Knowledge of SAP (advantageous)

Good general level of education

Excellent prioritisation skills

Experience of volume data input

MS Office and MS Outlook
