HPCC Ops Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE ROLE OF HPCC OPS ENGINEER:

Be able to perform all aspects of HPCC Administration, including but not limited to: Infrastructure Administration, Security Implementation, Data Source Configuration, Environment Monitoring and Support, Branding, Product Tuning, Configuration, Patching, Upgrades and Installation

Work productively with other Lead HPCC team (typically located onshore, India).

Ability to work independently and play the role of Lead Administrator during onshore off business hours.

Promoting, migrating, and upgrading content between multiple HPCC environments.

Collaborate with the HPCC team in daily monitoring, support and maintenance of overall HPCC (Administration and troubleshooting, Support, reporting, etc.).

Technical management and Administration of the HPCC Platform.

Coordination of security requirements and administration.

Performance monitoring in collaboration with Enterprise Infrastructure to ensure smooth operation, to identify and resolve manage performance issues and to drive best practices in data model tuning

Communication, enforcement and oversight of platform Rules of the Road and global governance standards.

Suggesting and advocating proposed Rules of the Road.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams to provide advice and information to global groups and serve as an advocate to promote the benefits of the platform

Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies for the shared platform.
