HPC Grid Infrastructure Engineer - Banking - AVP Salary: Competitive Investment Banking Salary Location: London A top tier global investment bank is looking to hire a High Performance Computing (HPC) grid engineer to join their global HPC team that manage, improve and support utility grid /high performance/ distributed computing across the IB. The role is multidimensional and will be a mixture of 2nd/3rd line Infrastructure Troubleshooting, Inventory Management, Service management (ITIL) and Grid Technology build/modification in line with the needs and specifications of multiple front and back office business streams. Ideal skill set/experience: - DataSynapse Grid Server v5.1 (this is not essential but some Grid exposure is ideal) - Exposure to enterprise global grid computing and associated financial infrastructure - Good Windows or Linux/Unix Infrastructure skills: AD/Server/Virtualisation/App Support - Strong client facing troubleshooting and problem management skills.
