HP Functional Test Consultant

Language Skills required:

Must be Fluent English, French and/or Dutch language skills would be an advantage.

Context:

- Distributed Development Support division provides support for the development teams during their development life cycle:
-
- Supply an integrated development toolbox for the Java
- Implement and support standard development processes in the
- Development toolbox
- Define and publish standards and guidelines;
- Organize training and education to end users;
- Maintain relationship with providers.

Objective of the Role/Duties

- The mission will be to support the team in the day-to-day expert support towards our users, meaning:
- Give expert advice upon the use of the test management and automation tools Quality centre and QTP
- Implementation of patches/new releases
- Customizations
- Foresee interfaces with other tools
- Giving demo's and training
- Guiding the IS projects in the rollout of the tool
- Develop standards and guidelines, document best practices
- Market watch
- Be the bridge between HP, the internal clients and the technical teams that support us (DBA, kitting team!)

Required knowledge/experience:

- Experience in IT and an interest in a mix of technical activities.
- Focus on client - customer and goals oriented
- Good communication and relational skills
- Open minded and flexible
- Able to work in a team
- Willing to learn new technologies
- Key competences: Be creative in problem identification and solving
- Knowledge of test management and test automation methodologies and
- Experienced in giving training, presentations and workshops.
- A sound knowledge of HP QualityCenter v11 is a must and experience with Quick Test Pro is an advantage.
