POSITION : HP DATA PROTECTOR BACKUP CONSULTANT

LOCATION : STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

JOB TYPE : CONTRACT

THE JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:

- Ability to manage Backup infrastructure.
- Installation & configuration of HP Data Protector for backup
- Backup/restoration of Unix/Windows Host
- Backup/Restore for SAP/Oracle/SQL/Exchange Database, VMware/NDMP with HP Data Protector.
- Configuring/Managing & Troubleshooting Disk Based Backup with HP Data Protector.
- Managing Internal Database of HP Data protector.
- Managing & Troubleshooting Virtual Tape Library and High End and Midrange Tape Libraries
- Knowledge of D2D replication
- License Management on HP Data Protector
- Comfortable in opening case with HP and driving them to closure.
- troubleshooting Backup related problems and alerts monitoring.
- Should work with vendor on new trends and measure to cut cost, time and improve productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Adhering to SLAs
- Mentoring/Training Team Members
- Handling tickets/requests
- Perform root cause analysis
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
- Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24/7 operation support
- Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario
- Planning Backup and Restoration Strategy
- Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level
