Autonomy Idol Consultant - European Commission

For one of our projects in the public sector we are currently urgently looking for an Autonomy Idol Consultant to work in Brussels.

In order to implement this initiative, it is needed to set up, configure and maintain several IDOL environments, including performance tuning, architecture assessment and monitoring of the solution among others.
In addition, a set of Proof of Concepts and pilots need to be carried out in order to assess the feasibility of integration of different technologies currently in use.

Task Description

- Configure, test and deploy different indexing scenarios on HP Autonomy IDOL.
- Manage different IDOL environments.
- Optimize infrastructure and different IDOL elements in order to provide an optimal service to third clients within the commission, including stress and volumetric testing.
- Proof of Concept, prototyping of infrastructure solutions, particularly on the basis of HP Autonomy IDOL and its integration with SharePoint and JEE solutions.
- Provide technical support to facilitate the integration of different solutions of the current IT Infrastructure of the Commission within the Enterprise Search.
- Implement Security and Identity and Access Management solutions and infrastructures in the context of Enterprise Search

Required Knowledge

- Experience on similar projects of at least 3 years on HP Autonomy IDOL search engine.
- Experience in search quality optimization
- Languages: Excellent oral and written English level. Excellent technical written skills
- Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working

Advantageous Knowledge

- Experience on other Search technologies (SOLR, LUCENE, GSA, ENDECA...etc)
