Title: HP Automation Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA

Our client in Atlanta, GA is seeking an HP Automation Analyst for an exciting opportunity. This position will provide support for infrastructure management applications to provide fault, performance, automation and configuration management of the computing infrastructure. As the HP Automation Analyst you will work with engineering and support organizations to identify infrastructure management requirements and implement appropriate solutions to effectively manage the computing environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Understand and achieve organizational and departmental goals, strategies and business plans
- Complete thorough analysis, design, development, integration and support for management scripts/programs to meet infrastructure management requirements
- Provide infrastructure management consulting for new technology project initiatives
- Respond quickly and effectively to all operational problems, resolve recurring problems
- Ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations
- Create appropriate documentation based upon specific assignment, project team role, or phase of a project
- Proven analytical abilities, diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lead and coordinate Systems Management projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple priorities
- Demonstrate unquestionable trust, total commitment and superior performance

REQUIREMENT:

- Substantial knowledge of information technologies (those currently used within the system and new technologies)
- Substantial knowledge of IT infrastructure components
- Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments
- Ability to negotiate with and influence others - internally as well as vendors
- Ability to build relationships and work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to provide and accept feedback
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Substantial knowledge of accepted industry standards (ie ICMP, SNMP)
- Substantial knowledge of programming language Perl and UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting
- Substantial knowledge of any or all of HP Server Automation, HP Network Automation, HP BSAe and CA eHealth
- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and DB2 and other database systems
- Knowledge of systems or network administration responsibilities on one or more platforms: Unix and/or Linux

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field or 5 years' experience in systems management environments and technologies is highly desired for this position
- ITIL certification preferred
