HP asset manager needed for 3-6 month contract working through a Global IT Consultancy. The ideal candidate should be able to architect, design, implement and support HP Asset Manager (AM). Candidates must possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; good listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills in Infrastructure domain and ITIL Process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, installation configuration, integration and tuning of HP Asset Manager and related discovery tools (such as HP DDMi and HP uCMDB)
* Experience in migrating from existing Asset Management repositories to HP Asset Manager
* Strong skills in HP Connect-IT to populate and retrieve data between with HP Asset Manager and HP Service Manager
* Extensive working knowledge on projects to implement HP Asset Manager and create new workflows, modify GUI and API interfaces using HP Connect-IT and Web Services.
* Installation, Maintenance and Upgrade of HP Asset Manager on UNIX and Windows environments
* Create daily, weekly, monthly periodic reports as per business requirements using Oracle Business Intelligence.
* Report any discrepancy in CI information and support in addressing the discrepancy
* Model the Infrastructure Cis and provide guidance to implement HP Asset Manager
* Train Team members of Asset Management on supporting HP Asset Manager.
* Strong understanding of Contract Management Module and Software Asset Management and licensing module of HP Asset Manager

Essential Skills:

* Advanced know-how in version migration of HP Asset Manager
* Very good experience of advanced workflow Design, Develop & implementation in HP Asset Manager
* Advanced skills in Asset Manager customizations and knowledge of the HP Asset Manager framework
* Advanced know-how in HP Asset Manager Web Services
* Advanced knowledge on HP uCMDB
* Conceptual knowledge Configuration Items and how to model the Cis
* In depth knowledge of DBMS concepts (Oracle and MS SQL Server)
* Conceptual knowledge Windows Servers & cluster
* Must be very strong on Infrastructure Domain concepts
* Extensive knowledge of ITIL Framework and BCP and ITIL Foundation Certification is Mandate.
* Working knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems.
