HP Arcsight/Siem Expert

The contract is with a consultancy to be on an assignment at a large European site in Den Haag Netherlands as follows:

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible January 2015

NUMBER OF DAYS: The assignment is estimated at max 100 man-days in 2015.

THE INITIAL DURATION OF THE CONTRACT will be until 30 June 2015.

Tasks to be performed

The client is requesting one Senior Expert, to work on the implementation of the next version(s) of UAS and SMS:

Installation and Configuration of HP ArcSight components:

(ESM, flex connectors and Logger)

Installation and configuration of HP ArcSight ESM solution

Installation and configuration of Flex connectors

Installation and configuration of Logger

Testing of the performance of the various SIEM components

Patching, as necessary, to the latest Service Patch and updating the SSL Certificate

Connecting the various HP ArcSight components to the various networks (dev, test, install, etc)

Applying the latest Logger image and patches to the appliance

Migration of the Logger component.

Configuration of flex connector for integrating new applications

Configure data collection and validate the correct collection, normalisation and storage of events.

Requires:

Working knowledge of English

Minimum of 4 years experience of HP ArcSight ESM, flex connectors and Logger

Minimum of 4 years experience in implementing SIEM solutions based on HP ArcSight product

Knowledge and experience on the use the Domain field set feature of ESM solution

Minimum of 4 years experience in use case development for SIEM products and detailed design of HP ArcSight content

DESIRABLE:

Knowledge and experience in system administration of HP ArcSight SIEM product (system administration, monitoring, etc.)
