WITHIN THE SOFTWARE DEPARTMENT THE QUALITY ASSURANCE TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE OF THE GLOBAL SOFTWARE DELIVERY LIFECYCLE (SDLC) AND OF THE COMMON PROCESSES AND TOOLS. THE TEAM WORKS TO IMPLEMENT A UNIQUE AND STANDARDIZED INTERFACE BETWEEN THE SOFTWARE FACTORY AND ITS PARTNERS.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure support of the HP ALM platform and of all the implemented processes for all software department stakeholders.
* Manage the HP ALM platform accordingly to the proposed improvements
- Customize GUI
- Customize workflows (Scripting, GUI)
- Manages user lists, role lists
* Manage HP ALM platform
- User management
- Incident management
* Maintain technical and operational documentation
- HP ALM user list
- Customization details
- Service disruption rules
* Ensure technical maintenance of the HP ALM platform (server patches, application maintenance and updates)
- Negotiates with IT infrastructure for security updates slots
- Check that patch level of server/application matches the security and infrastructure policies/guidelines
- Ensure backup/restores of the application (customization, data, software)
* Work on the implementation of software development processes (SDLC) and procedures, with Quality Assurance Management.
- Work on and document the monitoring, evaluation and improvement of those processes and procedures with Quality Assurance Management
PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
* Demonstrable expertise in HP ALM Administration and customization (mandatory)
* Strong analysis skills
* Abstraction and conceptual skills
* Customer oriented attitude
* Experience in Visual Basic for Application coding
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment
* Following skills and attributes are an asset:
- Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and languages (J2EE, SOA, Internet )
- Knowledge in IT Quality Assurance and governance standards (COBIT, CMMI for development, ITIL, ISO 9001 )
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
* English and French speaking
* Communication and Writing skills (English/French)
