Housing Property Inspector

* HOUSING REPAIRS INSPECTOR - ABERDEEN - 12 WEEK CONTRACT.*

Our public sector client has a fantastic opportunity for a HOUSING REPAIRS INSPECTOR to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient service to our customers in respect of property repairs, maintenance and upgrades to the housing through regular and cyclical site surveys.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be responsible for various response maintenance and voids based works for all housing.
- Carry out property inspections and area surveys to Housing Buildings and instruct trades staff and contractors on site where required.
- Correspond with owner/occupiers, landlords on issues affecting the maintenance of the properties.
- Assist the asset management team in gathering information relating to the condition of the housing.
- Participate in investigations when concerns or complaints have been raised about standards and take appropriate actions.
- Liaise and attend various meetings, as required, with contractors, specialist firms, private consultants etc.
