We currently require a Housing Officer to join the team in our Basingstoke office. The focus of this role is to provide a first class housing management service to a defined patch of general needs properties.

You will be responsible for ensuring positive neighbourhoods and customer satisfaction through addressing nuisance and breaches of tenancy, so will ideally have a proven track record of dealing with anti-social behaviour. You will also conduct tenancy sign ups, tenancy audit visits, identify and address estate improvement works, refer residents for tenancy support and proactively work with our residents, colleagues and partners to improve our services.

To succeed in this role candidates must be self-motivated, highly organised and demonstrate a high level of empathy, tenacity and confidence when addressing a variety of issues and working with residents, colleagues and a wide range of partners.

Experience in tenancy and estate management, preferably in the social housing environment, are required as are excellent communication, customer service and case management skills. You will need to demonstrate initiative, creativity, resilience and flexibility as well as commitment to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
