A Housing Officer is currently required based in our Abingdon office, Oxfordshire, to deliver a responsive and proactive service to our residents. The focus of this role is to provide effective housing management to approximately 250 units of general needs properties which are currently going through the process of being transferred to Sovereign's ownership and ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible for affected residents. Responsibilities will include all aspects of housing management with a strong focus on achieving performance standards and providing exemplary customer service.

We're looking for someone who is self motivated and can demonstrate a high level of empathy, tenacity and confidence when addressing a variety of issues and working with a wide range of partners. Candidates will require a strong customer focus with excellent communication, team working and problem solving skills.

While experience of stock transfers would be beneficial, a sound working knowledge of generic Housing Management is more important.

A full driving licence and access to your own transport is also required for this role.
