Hospital Linen and Supply Specialist

* Day Shift/Some Weekends.*

Purpose and Description:
This job is responsible to accurately pull medical supply and linen inventory. Additionally, staff is responsible to ensure that they work in a safe manner and adhere to hospital policy and procedure.

Essential Functions:
Linen and medical supply inventory
Product putaways and rotation of stock
Shelf cleaning
Departmental environment of care (breakdown of boxes, proper stocking etc)

Requirements:
One (1) year previous experience in an environment dealing with inventory
Excellent customer service skills (they must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization professionally and succinctly this can be anyone from a Doctor to other support staff)
One (1) year in an environment working with inventory control and procedures
High school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Flexible and adaptable
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Works well with others
Self starter
Reliable
Punctual
Works well with minimal supervision
