Home Loan Mortgage Assessor Needed

Our client is known as one of Australia's leading financial based institutions and is currently experiencing tremendous growth within the Home Loan/Mortgage Credit Assessment teams based in Parramatta! The role is an initial 6 month contract opportunity and is likely to extend much further after the initial period.

In this role, you will be part of a larger team that ultimately makes decisions for residential credit applications submitted to the bank as well as liaising with franchise brokers, lenders and mobile bankers in regards to home loan applications. In this role, you will also see yourself working 38 hours per week and may require to work on Saturdays from time-to-time. The general hours for this role will vary from 10am - 8pm (7.5 hour days) on a rotating shift.

To be able to successfully obtain this position, you will require the following:

- Analysis, decision and/or assessment experience in regards to loans, with a particular focus on home loans/mortgages
- Great stakeholder relationship skills
- Lending authority of up to $500k
- Understanding of Credit Risk Management and Authorities Frameworks including Credit Management policies and practices
- Ideally, previous experience within a Credit Analyst/Lending/Assessment role working for a large banking institution/home loan provider.
