HMI Software Engineer (C++; ODS Toolbox)

I am looking for an HMI Software Engineer to start a long-term contract with my client in the Netherlands

The engineer will need to implement new functions and associated interface of an existing system. Some of the tasks include:

- Perform investigation of problems and sketch solutions
- Review request for changes, clarify the understanding of the intention, perform prototyping where necessary, and create unambiguous software specifications
- Analyse and perform modifications required to source code, documentation and test suite, and define testscope, to implement problem fixes and changes

Required skills:

- At least 5 years experience of programming in C++ and ODS Toolbox
- Solid experience of development and deployment in a Linux environment
- Practical experience in analysing and discussing HMI operational and technical specifications (Air Traffic Management/Air Traffic Control)
- Knowledge of developing and executing automatic regression testing under strict configuration control
- Experience in developing large-scale applications (>500 kSLOC) for the operational ATC environment
- Experience in developing SIL 2 (or equivalent) software
