Projektbeschreibung
Under the general supervision and guidance of the Senior Engineer, to be responsible for design of strategic highway civil engineering works.
MAIN DUTIES:
* To design highway works including the use of AutoCad and Moss MX.
* To design surface water drainage, including the use of WinDes.
* To prepare detailed bills of quantities, estimates.
* To prepare works specifications and project information.
* Compile design risk assessment and management measures.
* To carry out other duties which are commensurate with the grade of the post.
KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING:
* HND/HNC or equivalent qualification plus significant relevant experience.
* IT literate, including the use of Moss MX, Autocad and WinDes (drainage design).
* Membership of a relevant professional body desirable.
* Experience of The Specification of Highway Works, Method of Measurement for Highway Works and New Engineering Contract Forms of Contract.
