Highly Qualified Analyst-Programmer

The candidate will work within the IS Life department in a team responsible for Mainframe Life Insurance developments (maintenance and new functionalities) like rating, database update & consulting, batch contract modification, .

The software is developed on a Cobol/DB2 Mainframe infrastructure, serving various technologies on the Front End side.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- English, Dutch and French language
- Min. 2 years Life Insurance or Banking knowledge
- Life insurance product rating and contract management knowledge
- Expertise knowledge of Cobol/DB2
- Minimum last 3 years continuously active in on-line and batch development in Cobol/DB2
- Experiences in functional e2e testing of insurance systems

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

- Detailed technical design, programming and unit-testing based on the functional design made by the functional designer or Architect
- Software development and implementation following strongly imposed technical standards.
- Execution of E2E functional test cases based on the requirements
- Execution of technical impact analysis and regression tests.
- Functional design and implementation of maintenance requests
