Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Senior High Speed Digital Interconnect Design Specialist to work in the engineering competence centre in Stockholm, to take on the challenge of designing and validating concepts for next generation of base station. This work is done on both a detailed design level and on a system level.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in high speed digital circuit design and he/she will be our technical leader for this area. The candidate will take responsibility for the high speed digital circuits design and the development of prototypes for the next generation of base stations. The task will be done utilising state-of-the-art technologies in order to achieve the highest speed within the industry.
The position will also include responsibility of technical research for high speed backplane InterconnecT solutions between mother and daughterboard, including but not limited to high speed digital connector, transmission line and digital compensation.
The work will be done in cooperation with our system design teams and other colleagues as well.
Skills required:
We expect the candidate to have experience of high speed digital interconnection design for high-speed circuits, both for backplane and the interconnection solution between motherboard and daughterboard.
The candidate needs to be experienced in design, development and launch of cost- effective products.
The candidate needs to be familiar with at least one (two or more is preferred) high-ranking simulation design tool for the development and research of high speed digital circuits.
The candidate can communicate fluently in English, both for writing and speaking.

*We expect that the candidate can work independently as well as in a team.
*The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work.
*The candidate should have a strong drive and interest for innovative solutions, innovative technologies and for product development. We expect that this candidate has a capability to share experiences with others in the team and also to pursue creative solutions.
