High Performance Scientific Computing Specialist

Projektbeschreibung
Brevco Services is currently looking for High Performance Scientific Computing Specialists to support a NATO project in La Spezia, Italy.
Requirements:
- At least three years relevant experience in the development of object-oriented software;
- Experience in modern programming languages like Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, or Ruby;
- Experience in developing or utilizing Web services and Web applications;
- Experience with software version control, defect tracking, unit testing, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams;
- Experience with cloud deployments and services;
- Good level of spoken and written English
Responsibilities:
Provide architectural inputs for software development efforts utilizing a thorough understanding of various technologies such as web applications, relational databases, information security, cloud-based services etc.;
Provide analysis and design reviews to apply appropriate technologies and architectures to solve conceptual problems; ensure design, structure and content meet performance guidelines;
Develop software that takes the best advantage of cloud/hybrid distributed architectures;
Design and support effective storage of big data; design build and support new data extraction, transformation and loading processes;
Documentation of the code.
Security Clearance Required: None Required
Laguage: English, but Italian would also be helpful.
