High Performance Scientific Computing Specialist- La Spezia, Italy -1 year durations - Excellent Rates

Consultant required to provide software development, porting and system integration in one or more of the following areas:

Parallel computing;

- Private and hybrid cloud; 
- Real Time and stream processing.  

Qualifications possessing recent and relevant experience as follows:
- At least three years relevant experience in the development of object-oriented software;
- Experience in modern programming languages like Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, or Ruby;
- Experience in developing or utilizing Web services and Web applications;
- Experience with software version control, defect tracking, unit testing, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams;
- Experience with cloud deployments and services; Good level of spoken and written English  

Tasking and deliverables

- Provide architectural inputs for software development efforts utilizing a thorough understanding of various technologies such as web applications, relational databases, information security, cloud-based services etc.
- Provide analysis and design reviews to apply appropriate technologies and architectures to solve conceptual problems; ensure design, structure and content meet performance guidelines; 
- Develop software that takes the best advantage of cloud/hybrid distributed architectures; 
- Design and support effective storage of big data; design build and support new data extraction, transformation and loading processes; 
-  Documentation of the code.
