High Level Strategy and Planning Consultant/Manager

Business Strategy Consultant/Manager. Our customer is a high level consulting company that is about to embark on a a project to define the strategy and governance of a transformation program within the Public Sector. The initial phase will be the scoping, review and creation of a strategy document/roadmap dealing with the process surrounding the engagement and selection of future suppliers - meaning for example drawing up strategy doc's for how to issue RFP's, managing the tenders process, setting benchmark for demand management - ie/how the Authorities will prioritise future projects etc.

To be as clear as possible, typically the candidates that we are looking for will have previous experience within the Public Sector, will have experience of strategic planning - perhaps a better phrase might be 'conceptual' planner. Our customer will give preference to consultants who have worked with or on behalf of consulting companies such as BCG/McKinsey/ etc

Candidates will need to demonstrate a minimum of 6-7 years strategic consulting, with atleast 2 years  hands on exposure to transformation, IT governance and demand planning/management, within Government/Public Sector projects.
