HGV Driver / LGV Driver / Class 1 Driver

We have won a new contract with a business based in Ashby de la Zouch. The contract starts from Monday 8 October and we need 5 HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) drivers for full-time positions on nights. You will be working Monday to Friday working an average of 11 hours per day. There will be additional shifts at the weekend, as paid overtime, if you choose to work. Start times between 19:00 and 23:00 (to suit)

The work involves straight forward trailer changes at distribution depots throughout the country. You will call at an average of 3 depots per run (e.g Coalville to Crick, Crick to Middlesborough, Middlesborough back to Coalville)

This contract will offer full time work until January 2013 and beyond with some opportunities for permanent employment with the client

Rates of pay as follows:
PAYE - £9.00 ph (first 8 hours) £12.00 ph overtime
Umbrella & Ltd Co - £10.00 ph (first 8 hours) £13 ph overtime

Applicants must have a current LGV C+E licence (test passed over two years ago), a digital tachograph card and at least 6 months experience in a similar position. We cannot accept applicants who have either DD or DR driving convictions.
