HGV Driver / Foreman

LOCATION: Alfreton, Derbyshire (J28 M1/A38)

JOB TITLE: HGV Relief Driver / Foreman

SALARY & BENEFITS: £8.50 p/h + performance bonus

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

THE ROLE: HGV Relief Driver / Foreman

Our client provide specialist services to the construction and waste recycling industries, with a turnover in excess of £80m running a fleet of over 200 vehicles.

As a result of continued investment in their services, they now have a vacancy within their Waste company for a HGV Relief Driver / Foreman to lead and motivate, a team of 10 Drivers of Kerbside Collection Vehicles, and 20 Operatives as part of the company's recycling service for Local Authority Customers.

This role will be a mix of 70% driving and 30% team leader duties such as undertaking associated admin duties, organising rota's, arranging holiday cover and processing holiday requests.

THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking for an experienced and confident individual with proven experience of working at a team leader, supervisor, yard foreman level previously.

You must have excellent communication and literacy skills, experience of driving C2 vehicles and ideally have worked within the waste industry. You must be reliable and hard-working, with a good team ethic.
