HEOR HTA Specialist - Associate Director

A large Global Pharmaceutical company is looking to bring on board a expert in global HTA's. This person will be adding to an already well established yet innovative global team. This position will have direct accountability and responsibility for the development and implementation of Health Technology Assessment strategies and materials, with the objective of securing and maintaining funding for brands on commercially favourable terms. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with the Director of Global Health Technology Assessment, other colleagues in EVMS and regional and affiliate-based colleagues on the development of Global HTA strategies that can be implemented locally. 2. Build, validate and implement economic models and clinical effectiveness research materials for use in HTA submissions to Health Technology Assessment agencies across EMEA, the Americas, Japan and Asia Pacific demonstrating the value of our brands to payors. 3. For regions without HTA expertise, develop and lead regional HTA teams. For regions with capabilities, work as a team member strategically and tactically, providing quality controlled 'work product', including EXCEL models, Data Tables and written HTA components. 4. Contribute to the development of global publication strategy and plan and present key results of HEOR studies at scientific congresses and journals 5. Identify unmet HTA research needs better met by external local groups and implement them. 6. Review protocol concept sheets (PCS) for the integration of Health Economic Outcomes Research (HEOR) endpoints. Work with the Director to contribute the appropriate components to the PCS (e.g., Objectives, Assessments, Statistical Analyses) * Masters in economics or statistics or related field with appropriate experience. * 8 -10 years minimum experience in the design, conduct and preparation of HTA models and dossiers. * Ability to work cross-functionally within teams as well as build and lead them. * Strong EXCEL skills including Visual Basic for macro writing; SAS a plus. * Ability to articulate difficult or complex ideas succinctly and understandably to broader audiences.
