HELPDESK OPENINGS IN IN LOUISVILLE, KY

Selected individuals will be responsible for providing process support to users of our client's electronic data interchange transaction processes by direct contact or indirect methods.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to EDI inquiries and/or requests for assistance from customers and peers. May process new clients from the security database, including assigning security levels and passwords, and communicating same. Identifies, investigates and researches questions and problems and may resolve "on-the-spot", call back or refer to other associates for assistance as needed. Stays current on updates to software in use, changes in electronic file formats, or changes in regulations that impact the exchange of data. Participates in release testing for standard systems. Assists in department initiatives to improve performance, produce reports, and introduce system enhancements. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

- Requires high school graduate or equivalent
- 3-5 years claims processing, customer service, or para-technical helpdesk support experience.
- Familiarity with insurance industry, Medicare and other clearinghouse terminology is helpful.
- Must have ability to focus on details but convey information in a manner that is easily understood.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
