Are you a Helpdesk Technical Support Specialist looking for short-term contract opportunities in Mechelen, Belgium. Do you speak Fluent Dutch, French, and English. If so, I have a one (1) Month contract opportunity available (backup during holiday)! Our client is in the automotive sector.

You will require good written and spoken French Language and Dutch, to be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Break-Fix Tech and migration support;
- This position assists staff in Corporate Office and remote locations with technical support of desktop and laptop computers, applications and related technology;
- Support includes specifications, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established guidelines;
- You will also assist in the maintenance and testing of network Servers, mobile devices and other associated equipment.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assist staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software.
- Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
- Ensure desktop computers InterconnecT seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file Servers, email Servers, computer conferencing systems, application Servers and administrative systems.
- Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
- Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases
- Orders computer supplies
- Other duties as required, including basic network and server maintenance tasks

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:
- 0 -2 years' experience supporting Windows 7 and 8 desktop/laptop PCs;
- Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs;
- Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops, Servers;
- Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems;
- Outlook SharePoint skills;
- Customer Service Experience a must;
- English language skill - conversational (is preferred);
- Knowledge of Dutch and French is an asset;
- Local language skill - business fluent.
