Helpdesk Support Engineer

International and dynamic business seeks a level-headed Helpdesk Analyst (Desktop Support Engineer) to join their busy support team, supporting a vibrant call centre in Dublin. You should have keen prioritisation skills and be a confident communicator. This is initially a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Role: Helpdesk Analyst (Desktop Support Engineer)
Location: Dublin
Rate: EUR165 - EUR207 per day, one day per week
Contract length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension

Duties
- Supporting users on a mixture of Mac and Windows systems, including end user products
- Resolving performance degradation
- Malware removal
- Supporting users with video conferencing technologies, troubleshooting
- Account management and compliance
- Assisting in a project migrating from Samba to Active Directory

Essential skills
- Windows and Mac systems knowledge
- Experience with cloud based telephony systems
- Good antivirus knowledge
- Experience of video conferencing technologies
- Good prioritisation skills
- Good communication skills

Desirable skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Ability to troubleshoot DNS
- Exposure to Asterisk (PBX), Cisco CUCM or inContact software
