Helpdesk Engineer

An excellent opportunity for a Helpdesk Engineer to join a leading UK energy company on a contract basis. Our client is looking for the successful individual to provide administrative and specific technical support for employees personal mobile devices.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks;

- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information including managing the Mobile Device Management (MDM) console.
- Provide general Admin support for Enrolling new devices and De enrolling as require
- Provide technical and administrative support for the management of the mobile device
- Single point of contact for users involved in trials/Proof of concepts activities
- Act as a liaison with users, potentially liaise with MDM providers plus other server management groups
- Undertake specific 'Enterprise wipe' activities, subject to strict authorised controls.
- Carry out Problem investigation and resolution which may require liaison with a number of third party support teams ( eg Capgemini in Mumbai, ATOS and MDM providers) this will include restarting services on the Servers and or investigation into logs in the Exchange Servers plus MS Active sync settings
- Liaise with the telecoms provider (Orange) to resolve issues raised which may relate to Data Bundles, 3G issues, Roaming etc
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business as required.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills as required
