IT Helpdesk Analyst / Microsoft Office 2003 & 2010 / Windows XP / Windows 7 / Active Directory / Call login systems / EPOS /

Progressive Recruitment are currently seeking a IT Helpdesk Analyst for a contract role based in Croydon to start ASAP on a 3 to 6 month contract working within a prestigious retail organisation..

Day to day responsibilities:

- To receive IT incidents or requests from the customer and to ensure that they are logged
- To diagnose all IT incidents or requests and resolve where possible
- To escalate any IT incidents or requests that require further diagnosis to the correct support group
- To maintain a high degree of customer service at all times

Key Skills:

-Good knowledge of PC based Office applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc).
-Detailed Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
-Analytical skills
-Experienced in previous helpdesk role and general all round IT experiences would be essential
-Strong understanding of Windows based operational systems such as Windows XP, 7 and Microsoft office 2003 to 2010
-EPOS (Electronic Point of sale)
-Detailed knowledge of how retail IT systems work and how to perform support at a 1st line level.

Rate:£10 - 12 per hour
Contract Length: 3- 6 months contract (TEMP TO PERM)
