HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

Growing company located in Norcross has an immediate need for a Help Desk Technician on a long term contract basis (2-5 years!). This is a crucial hire for the company, as they take pride in their Help team and have a team-centered, collaborative environment.

The company is rapidly expanding, offers great benefits and an excellent 401K, and is well-rooted in Atlanta. You will interact with all levels of the organization and contribute immediately!

Responsibilities:

- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems for end users.
- Respond quickly to requests put through the IT helpdesk.
- Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process FIFO priority.
- Modficy configurations and S/W default settings for workstations.
- Utilize helpdesk tracking software and document internal procedures.
- Assist with onboarding new users (install new workstations, etc.)
- Maintain inventory of equipment, S/W, and licenses.
- Report issues up to Tier2 as part of escalation process.
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard H/W, images, and S/W.
- Active Directory assignment (users and computers).
- Perform timely Workstation H/W/S/W upgrades as needed.
- Assist with Datacenter infrastructure monitoring.

Requirements:

- 2+ years Tier1/relevant technical experience
- Active Directory, S/W/H/W setup, end user support.
- Familiar with prompt and concise response/excellent communication skills.
- High School Diploma

Preferences:

- Bachelor's Degree
