Help Desk/Technical Support

Yoh has multiple contract opportunities available for full time and part time TECHNICAL SUPPORT/HELP DESK SPECIALISTS for a great client in Center City, Philadelphia.

JOB OVERVIEW:

- The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills as well as general help desk/technical support experience. The Client will provide training on their applications and products.
- FULL TIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE ARE 12:30PM-9PM AND INCLUDE SATURDAY HOURS. PART TIME HOURS ARE 4PM-9PM AND INCLUDE FULL DAY SATURDAY HOURS.
- MUST BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN 9AM-5PM FOR TRAINING THE FIRST 2 WEEK.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical support and issue resolution via email, phone and other electronic medium
- Troubleshoot installation, database and hardware (scanner) issues
- Serve as an escalation point for difficult issues from first level support representatives
- Assist with usage questions
- Contribute to Knowledge Base Articles and assist with technical aids and self-help tools
- Contribute to clients goal of resolving 80%+ of customer issues in the first response

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience in phone-based technical support desired
- Proficient with Windows XP, Vista, and 7 and Mac 10.5 and 10.6
- Familiarity with MS .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft SQL
- Basic knowledge of the Windows Command prompt
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
