CompuCom, the leading IT outsourcing company is seeking a Technician capable of supporting a Windows 7 OS environment, Office and Outlook 2003, and 2010, Bloomberg equipment. Also, must have experience using and demonstrate knowledge of SCCM (formerly SMS) and AppSense. Experience using TrackIT ticketing system and support of Sophos Antivirus software a plus!

OVERVIEW

- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
- Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up.
- Performs general maintenance tasks and resolves less complex problems immediately, while more complex issues are identified to a higher level of support.
- May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have 3-4 years of experience supporting: Windows 7 OS environment, Office and Outlook 2003, and 2010
- Experience supporting Bloomberg equipment (keyboard, terminal, etc.) preferred
- Experience using and demonstrate knowledged of SCCM and AppSense
- Experience using TrackIT ticketing system and support of Sophos Antivirus software a plus
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude expected
- May require an associate's degree in a related area
