THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Three (3) + years of technical environment user support, corporate customer support and troubleshooting experience based on management discretion.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Respond to assigned Help Desk tickets within established guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair server, system outages, performance issues, and equipment failures.
- Manage, and maintain corporate infrastructure.
- Evaluate user needs by attending meetings and monitoring help desk requests.
- Create proposals or quotes in support of facilitating purchase of equipment and software.
- Maintain accurate physical asset inventory records
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Extensive knowledge of Windows & Apple client OS environments.
- Knowledge of NT and AD domain structure and management and security
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN network infrastructure
- Knowledge of telephone/VOIP systems.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Training in Microsoft PC Operating Systems, Apple hardware service, Mac OS management, and/or Linux Administration.
