HELP DESK AND DESKTOP SUPPORT PERSON

8-10 WEEKS

STOCKTON, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1) Providing desktop and network support for the Information Technology customer base,

2) Managing and Write Standard Operating Procedures,

3) Providing accurate documentation of incidents and problem resolutions,

4) Maintaining knowledge of Standard Help Desk Operating Procedures,

5) Utilizing troubleshooting techniques in support Work Stations, Networked Printers, Network hub/Switches, Routers and circuits,

6) Supporting applications such as Active Directory,

7) Supporting operating systems on multiple platforms,

8) Providing professional support to the customer base with the expectation of single call resolution, and

9) Utilizing courtesy, good phone skills, good communication skills and good listening skills at all times.

The SPECIFIC SKILL SETS of interest are:

- Can create and maintain desktop images using Microsoft's MDT
- DESKTOP SUPPORT (using remote access tool or going to the customer's PC (on campus).
- Has experience using SERVICE PRO (Help Desk ticket system)
- Can help write Desktop Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
