The Successful Candidate will provide 1st contact technical support and troubleshooting to End-Users and system support staff, who have contacted the Service Desk via phone or email. Working in Microsoft Windows environment.
Main Duties:
Answer and log IT service requests received via phone, web-logged calls and emails.
Provide 1st contact technical problem analysis and resolution of client issues with the aid of available Service Desk tools (eg Remote Support, FAQ''s, Troubleshooting Guides and knowledge base articles). Log actions taken and resolution.
Where 1st contact resolution is not possible escalate calls to the appropriate resolving group as required.
You will offer a basic understanding of IT with excellent communication skills.
To start as soon as possible.
