SUMMARY:
Under general direction, provides help desk support to business area management and staff for all aspects of end user computing and desktop, Servers, network, software and hardware. Provides technical support and guidance to client and systems areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides phone and customer-facing support within business office for all aspects of end user computing and network-based PC/Workstation systems software and hardware.
- Performs maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment; documents and applies standard solutions.
- Performs troubleshootingdocumentsconfiguring and troubleshooting desktops and laptops; in the use of Microsoft products: Exchange 2010, Blackberry, BES, SharePoint, SCCM, EMC SAN, Symantec Backup, Symantec Antivirus, SQL Server, VMWare is an asset.
- Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches are as asset.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, presentation and customer service skills.
