- Provide support to users
- Perform various duties relating to network support including account setup, cabling, phones, Intranet maintenance and membership online to ensure that the network is working effectively at all times.
- Perform varies duties relating to the core organisation database including maintenance, training, reporting, troubleshooting, customisation and user security
- Maintain and organise repairs of hardware such as computers, telephones, printers, modems and provide day-to-day support including ordering of parts and setting up new profiles to ensure all computers and other IT equipment are operational at all times for users.
- Provide training to users on applications such as Microsoft Office, membership database, WH&S and Intranet to ensure that users are fully trained to be able to do their job competently.
- Set up equipment such as projectors and laptops for events and other meetings as required to ensure that equipment is up and running.


- A degree, diploma or certificate in IT and relevant work experience.
- Technical skills in hardware such as networking, printer, pda's, modems, computers, cabling and laptops.
- Advanced software skills in MS Office products
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- The ability to work well both unsupervised and within a team environment
- Listening, oral and written communication skills to enable effective communication with users and the ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Planning and organising skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure that tasks are completed within deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
