Helpdesk, Helpdesk Support, 1st Line support

My client based a little North of London is urgently seeking a Helpdesk, Helpdesk Support, 1st Line support based on a 6 months contract with a view to extend. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a predominantly Public sector background. However if you have the knowledge and skill set of a Helpdesk, Helpdesk Support, 1st Line support then please apply now. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to better their skills up to 2nd and 3rd line support.

Key skills for the Helpdesk, Helpdesk Support, 1st Line support include:

* Previous 1st line experience

* Supporting over 500 users

* Working knowledge of Windows XP and Windows Server 2007, 2008 and Active Directory/AD

* MCSA and MCP

Skill sets which will not necessary needed but nice to have for the Helpdesk, Helpdesk Support, 1st Line support are:

*Citrix

*Xen App

* VM Ware

*Public Sector Experience (Working within the NHS, University or Local Government)

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Helpdesk, Helpdesk Support, 1st Line support include:

* Using AD (Active Directory) to set up and reset passwords

* Support between 350-500 users
