HEALTHY WORKFORCE PROJECT COORDINATOR/MANAGER

DESCRIPTION:

This is a temporary, contract position working with the national workforce wellness program
Position supports multiple Healthy Workforce programs including the incentive plan, physical activity, healthy eating, and general workforce wellness projects.

§ Support Project Leads on planning, development, implementation and evaluation of national wellness programs. Role includes variety of tasks such as tracking project plan progress, working with regional partners, assisting with metrics, legal, and communications tasks, implementation, materials development and other support as needed.
§ Support metrics for the Healthy Workforce programs, including running reports on participation and preparing data for presentations.
§ Support completion of applications for external awards such as the National Business Group on Health and the American Heart Association Fit Friendly Business Awards, including project management of the application process, writing/editing application sections and coordination with multiple other departments to produce the final application.
§ Develop and track reports for Healthy Workforce, including quarterly and yearly program summaries.
§ Assist with meeting planning including scheduling meetings, preparation of slide presentations, and distribution of minutes.
§ Perform literature and online searches, produce summaries and make recommendations to the team.
§ Additional duties as needed, including some administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ Bachelor's degree required; preferred major of health promotion or health education.
§ Candidate needs to have min 5 years experience
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of programs.
§ Experience in employee wellness and wellness campaigns.
§ Strong writing skills.
§ Experience using WebEx to host meetings.
§ Expertise in developing PowerPoint presentations.
§ EXPERTISE IN DEVELOPING EXCEL SPREADSHEETS FOR REPORTING PURPOSES.
