Healthcare Compliance Specialist wanted for our client in the pharmaceutical sector in Zurich
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- More than 8 years of working experience (5 years in the life sciences industry), especially in compliance
- University degree in Law or equivalent
- Know-how of the pharmaceutical industry, background in law or policy would be a plus
- Good knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, standards and industry codes along with experience in key compliance concepts and their application to the pharmaceutical industry
- Background in defining healthcare compliance policies and developing standard operating procedures
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, other languages would be a big plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Identify emerging regulatory issues, developments in industry practices and standards, compliance risk trends, design appropriate policies and procedures to ensure continuing relevance of the global compliance program proactively
- Finding potential areas of compliance risk to ensure policy/procedure and/or improvements are developed and implemented
- Developing. initiating, maintaining and revising policies and procedures for the operation of global compliance program
- Providing guidance on the global compliance policy/SOP architecture, ensuring sufficient oversight and elaboration of consistent standards at global level, while assuring an appropriate level of empowerment at regional/LOC level
- Cooperating with the regional/LOC compliance officers implementing global policies and procedures as well as working closely with the business to provide advice on appropriate business-level controls necessary to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct
- Giving compliance support to global commercial, global medical affairs and business functions based in Zurich as well as preparing compliance-related reports, presentations and other communications for employees and senior management
