Job Summary:

Asap contract - Minimum 6 months - Healthcare Compliance Exceutive - healthcare compliance experience from any industry considered - pharmaceutical experience beneficial but not essential. Would consider candidates looking to transition from marketing or regulatory into a more medical affairs focussed role. Competitive salary and benefits on offer and salary fully negotiable depending on level of experience.

Job Accountabilities:

Work with Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance and the UK HCMI team to ensure we have robust HC compliance processes and training for the UK and Ireland. Specific responsibility for Medical Educational Goods and Services (MEGS) & Patient Organisation (PO) Committees and SOP Governance Support and Training

Job Content:

Healthcare Compliance SOP Governance and Training

Work with the Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance to ensure SOP Governance and HC Training is conducted within the UK and Ireland in accordance with ABPI, ABHI and IPHA Codes of Practice.

Work with the Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance, Country Training Manager and Process Sponsors/Writers to:

Maintain SOP Governance History - master tracking spreadsheet
Maintain and update SOP glossary
Facilitate/undertake review/amends to SOPs
Facilitate roll out of implementation plans, training
Work with Training Admin on LMS (Plateau) HC training requirements

Conduct training with/on behalf of the Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance including ITC training, new starter (non-field based) training. Ensure new starters in UK/Ireland are assigned and receive required HC training.

Manage and maintain the HC Portal (Sharepoint) housing the core ABPI and other HC Policies, SOPs and Forms. Site controller and contact person for the central access point for UK and Ireland employees.

Work with Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance on training initiatives/projects such as manuals, presentations, new technologies

Run Wellards training for the UK organization

Promotional Copy Approval & Healthcare Compliance (Grants &Donations/ Sponsorships/Patient Organizations - UK and EU/EM)

Undertake Zinc review/approval of UK/Ireland promotional and non promotional materials and activities (as relevant to the role) in accordance with relevant regulations and legislation including ABPI/ABHI/IPHA Codes of Practice.
Undertake Zinc review/approval of EU/EM promotional and non promotional materials and activities in accordance with Client's European Copy approval process & SOPs, relevant regulations and legislation including EFPIA and EUCOMED.
Attend relevant copy review meetings. Attend and participate in brand teams and franchise teams as HC representative (as appropriate)

Medical Educational Goods and Services (MEGS) Withdraws grant not spent within time-limits
Deals with/escalates any complaints regarding grant applications
Produces Quarterly Reports for Management Team/NCC
Works with Director CAPR and HCMI Senior Manager regarding Patient Organisation Requests. Owns and runs PO meetings (usually held post the MEGS Committee Meeting).

Maintains and tracks PO grant requests and ensures updates to Sharepoint sites and websites

Support for Senior Manger Healthcare Compliance

Provide day to day Healthcare Compliance Support for the Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance as well as a point of contact for HC systems.

The role also supports the Senior Manager and Director in ensuing maintenance of processes in relation to Client UK compliance with the UK Bribery Act and any other relevant legislation, working alongside Regional Compliance and Legal.
The incumbent will support the Senior Manager Healthcare Compliance in their role as National Compliance Officer and support the UK National Compliance Committee

Continuing Professional Development

Keep current in product and medical knowledge and best Healthcare Compliance practices as well as applicable regulations and guidance.
Develop and maintain contact with all key departments including Regulatory, Marketing and Sales.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

Attention to detail

Knowledge and experience related to of Healthcare Compliance activities and compliance governance.

In-depth awareness of regulations and guidelines related to Promotional Copy/Advertising/Compliance

Sound written and verbal communication skills. Good planning and organising skills.

Ability to interact with diverse customers such as doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, as well as colleagues in Sales & Marketing, Regulatory, R&D.

Good level of IS/IT skills and experience of managing databases - Excel, Powerpoint, Visio,

Commitment to quality and timeliness.

DESIRED MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Degree level required - pharmacist, biological, pharmaceutical or life science
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a HC Role or related role
