The Role:
To take a lead role in developing, communicating and coordinating the implementation of the company's SHE improvement initiatives
To promote and co-ordinate the company's safety, health & environmental undertakings
To develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures to meet the company's obligations with regard to safety, health and environmental legislation, management systems and best practice
To identify relevant health, safety and environmental legislation applicable to business activities, continually review and ensure compliance with legislation and amend the management system and processes as necessary
To provide specialist knowledge, advice and guidance on all aspects of environmental management to line managers and team leaders by promoting and monitoring a strategy based upon analysis of environmental aspects and associated control measures.
