Health Insurance Claims Auditor - 6-Month Contract

6-MONTH CONTRACT POSITION

JOB TITLE: Health Insurance Claims Auditor

LOCATION: Aurora, CO 80014

PAY RATE: $22/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Tracking and monitoring the service center; working in conjunction with the team that does the day to day operations.
- Acts as liaison between internal and external customers.
- Works with customers to resolve complex issues, maintains effective working relationships, promotes good public relations, resolves problems related to premium billing and enrollment.
- Answers phones, opens mail, helps with mailings, prints system screen shots, posts cash payments, updates Excel spreadsheets, orders ID cards, tracks and monitors reports, does data entry.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, business, or related area.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years' computerized accounting experience in a health insurance environment, and account audit/reconciliation experience.
- Some Project Coordination experience.
- Customer Service skills and experience in a Customer Service role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
