CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers
PAY: $27/hr
TRAVEL:
- Travel to occasional meetings off-site as well as initial meetings with customer in medical office buildings
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for delivering effective, proactive and responsive recruitment/workforce management consultative services to include workforce planning, career services, retention strategies, recruitment and diversity.
- Consults with hiring managers to develop strategic recruitment plans to source the best match of candidates to positions through cold calling, networking, etc.; resume evaluation, candidate assessment and referral, and training professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA; legalities and ethics of recruitment; needs analysis; job analysis; position specific recruitment planning; resume and candidate evaluation; interviewing techniques.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in Taleo, on-line ATS
- Screening for Top Talent using behavioral based interviewing
- Sourcing Candidates
- Consulting with our managers and supervisor on workforce strategies and the recruitment process
- Full cycle recruitment
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in recruitment screening and selection of management/exempt, technical/professional, and business professionals
- Nursing/Health Care recruitment experience (4 years)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- On-line ATS experience
- Proficient in use of email, Word, Excel
- Excellent professional communication and strong customer services skills
- Critical Thinking skills
- Motivated, self-starter
- Accountable and takes initiative
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated counseling ability
- Demonstrated consultative skills
- Demonstrated executive presence with leadership ability
- Ability to quickly build relationships and establish trust with leaders, hiring managers, colleagues and candidates
- Broad general knowledge of HR concepts, and processes and their interdependencies
- Demonstrated networking capabilities and creativity in sourcing candidates
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment processes (candidate sourcing, resume evaluation, candidate assessment and interview, and matching position to best candidate background)
- Demonstrated use of applicant tracking system required
- Demonstrated knowledge of governmental regulations, court decisions and professional standards and practices related to EEO/AA, legalities and ethics of recruitment, and job analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Able to interact with multiple levels of staff to effect change
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to meet the demands of the diverse and changing needs of the assigned specialty areas
- Strong customer focus required
- Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated coordination, organization and project management skills
- Computer literacy required
- Willing to travel
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Collective Bargaining experience
- Experience recruiting at national events and conferences
- Experience recruitment outside of logistical area
