Our client, a leading Public Sector division, is seeking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Development Manager to join their division based out of Manchester. As the H&S Manager you will be responsible for assisting our clients Health and Safety division with its health and safety obligations.
Successful candidates will be required to gain Disclosure Scotland security clearance upon invite to interview

Key Task & Deliverables
*Manage discrete projects from the Five Year Health, Safety & Wellbeing Plan as agreed with the Divisional Director
*Prepare reports required for the Board, Executive and all Safety Committees within agreed timescales
*Implement processes to improve data capture to ensure that the right information is captured at the right time
*Support incident investigation and close out of remedial actions
*Support restructuring activities
*Promote safety leadership throughout the organisation
*Develop capacity, capability, expertise and professionalism within the Directorate.
*Build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, influence across boundaries and inform policy making.

Relevant Experience:
*Minimum of 3 years experience of working at a strategic management level in a relevant role.
*5 years experience working in Senior Health and Safety Leadership position
*Experience within the construction industry is desirable
*Experience of developing H&S Safe Systems of Work
*Project management experience
*Experience of developing high performing teams
