HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER

Role Description
A Health and Safety Manager is required to work on a high profile, high budget project (£Billion) within the Energy and renewable sector to provide expert consultancy services during the development phase of the project.

Role:
The role is an interim 6 month placement to undertake the following activities:

- Advise the Project Board on all matters relating to Health & Safety.
- Act as the lead CDM Co-ordinator for the project.
- Provide monthly HEALTH AND SAFETY reports to the Project Management Committee
- Provide a report on the proposed HEALTH AND SAFETY Management structure for the project for the remainder of the Development period and moving into the Construction Period.
- The HEALTH AND SAFETY manager is expected to work autonomously with the minimum of leadership and supervision.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experienced and Qualified CDM Co-ordinator
- Experience of Marine and offshore projects
- Experience of large strategic construction projects
- Experience of working across multiple organisations
- Significant experience of working within Electricity Transmission in the UK&I
- Ability to liaise with the minimum of supervision across multiple organisations.
- Ability to communicate at Director and Senior Management level across multiple organisations

The ability to create the Health and Safety Strategy for complex, high budget projects is key to this requirement.
