Health and Safety and Sustainability Assistant - Banking

Salary: Circa £25-35K + banking benefits + bonus

Location:London

A boutique global bank is looking to hire a Health and Safety and Sustainability Assistant to effective assess, coordinate and administer Health and Safety and Sustainability management, associated systems and implementation best practise. The Assistant will be working closely with Health and Safety and the Sustainability Managers so will get strong exposure across the business.

Someone who has experience working across a multi site, enterprise environment in a Health and Safety/Sustainability assessment/analysis would be ideal.

Occupational Health and Safety Requirements/Skills (3 days a week)

* Face to face employee interviews and assessments with the ability to identify risks
* Looking after vendor relationships and working with auditors
* Coordinate, assist and help to train colleagues, eg with Online Manuals and Tutorials
* Working autonomously to follow up on risks and ensure maximum H&S standards

Sustainability Requirements/Skills (2 days a week)

* Data Analysis and KPI tracking eg across Energy and Waste usage/output
* Appreciation of attention to detail and ensuring business sustainability.

Other useful skills/qualifications: NEBOSH Cert 1 H & S and/or Environmental Qualifications. Good IT skills, eg ability to use Office to produce analysis (Excel) and presentations (Powerpoint).
