Health and Safety Analyst

For our international end client we are looking for a Health and Safety analyst

Start: ASAP
Duration: 3months +
Location: The Hague
Rate: ~50/hr

1/Analysis of current resilience programme for content and impact and development of new resilience material.
a) This will require expert critical appraisal, review of the published literature, and application of psychological concepts and adult learning techniques to develop new material
b) It will require collaboration with senior Health staff, as well as people in learning and HR

2/Development of extension material for existing modules
a) This will involve analysis of the current material, critical review of other support material within (such as the Skillsoft modules), and application of research to develop new extension material
b) This will also involve application of specialized knowledge on various forms of reinforcement of learning, and the media through which this can be delivered

3/Involvement in analysis and interpretation of the statistical data for the resilience programme:
a) Involvement in the analysis and interpretation of the complex statistical assessment of the resilience programme
b) Involvement in the formulation of further research questions for the resilience programme

4/Development of the toolkit of interventions that will arise from the stress intervention programme:
a) Review of existing support tools
b) Research to find other support tools
c) Development of a integrated tool kit
d) Communication of this to relevant groups
e) Development of an assessment process to determine if the tools are useful

This work requires a sophisticated analysis and review process, based on knowledge gained from a degree in psychology, as well as detailed analysis, critical appraisal and scientific interpretation of material and results. The candidate will also need to draw on analytical research skills:
1. Non-technical risk (NTR): Identification of and development of a standard approach to Non-Technical health Risk and guidance for health project owners
a) this requires application of graduate knowledge of sustainable, public health or international development issues
b) review and interpretation of existing documentation
c) review and interpretation of databases
d) close collaboration with other functions at senior levels
e)develop presentation material for HSSE and businesses
f) develop training material for Health staff

2. Health Impact Assessment: HIA: Review entire functional involvement in HIA process and develop improvement plan
a) review existing material and develop training material, contribute to guide books
b) review and quality assess current HIA's in close collaboration with health staff and other functions
c) set up expert network and identify other issues for improvement
d) identify or develop and populate dedicated site w/necessary guidance, best practice examples and templates

3. Health in strategic social investment: Develop strategy, guide and implementation plan including review and lessons learnt
a) close collaboration with functions at senior level
b) identification of pilot sites
